Origin & History of Shoonya Theatre Group

Shoonya theatre group is led by Dr. Rama Yadav, presently professor at Delhi University.

Shoonya theatre group was founded in year 2017 and since then has been working actively in field of theatre. "Ashad Ka ek Din" by Mohan Rakesh is one of the major productions of the group and has been performed on different occasions.

Other notable works of the group is "Andha Yug" . Shoonya has been giving life to stories and poems regularly some of the notable once are as following -: "Khali Jagh se" by Nirmal Verma , "Asadhya Veena" by Agyay, Dibiya , Kamre Me Dhoop , Bazzar ,Hairat hai.

"Arohan-Short Story theatre festival" is annual theatre festival organised by Shoonya

Shoonya theatre group works in close association with Bal Sahyog (An NGO for underprivileged kids) as a theatre in Education initiative.
